This guide will show how to make basic UE/MS connectivity test for labkits.

LTE

  1. Hold the phone about 1 meter from the Lab Kit.
  2. Get a phone to attach with a manual network search, network 00101. It should attach on the first attempt, or automatically before the search completes.
  3. Start the G-NetTrack Lite app on the phone. Browse to Cell tab, it should show:
    1. MCC:001 MNC:01 TAC:<matching LMI> Type:LTE
    2. RSRP: >-100 RSRQ: >-12 SNR: >10 CQI: >7 RSSI: >-90
  4. In G-NetTrack Settings , open Data test to test the speed. Results should be UL speed > 1 MB/s, downlink > 5 Mb/s.

GSM

  1. Hold the phone about 1 meter from the Lab Kit.
  2. Get a phone to attach with a manual network search, network 00101. It should attach on the first attempt, or automatically before the search completes.
  3. Start the G-NetTrack Lite app on the phone. It should show: MCC:001 MNC:01 Type: 2G
  4. Dial the number (32843) for voice testing
  5. Test SMS by sending SMS to (32843)
  6. For dataroam mode. In G-NetTrack G-NetTrack Settings , open Data test to check the speed.
